break is coming to an end, and i'm kind of indifferent about it. on one side of the coin, i'm so glad because we have ski club tomorrow, and i feel like break kind of gradually made me become dumber, but on the other, it's been so nice going to sleep at 3 in the morning and waking up at 12 and sitting in bed waiting for the day to unfold before you. i don't know.. break was a big growing experience for me. it was kind of weird because i thought i needed a break from school, and for once, i was right. i immediately relaxed after that 6th bell exam because 7th bell was a breeze. and as i'm staring into a brand new semester i feel inspired to do well, because for once, i feel like i can. it's amazing. it's like i can breathe for the first time.
the weight of 2005 has been lifted off my shoulders. there were some up points, but the bad points were devistating. however, the downs have definitely made me who i am right now, sitting here, typing nonsense. 2005 was a trust building year, a year full of miniscule lessons that all eventually compiled into one and revealed themselves at the end. i'd never had someone so close to me die, and this year it was 2. and i took those situations and i looked at them and said : i can either mourn this person's death, or celebrate this person's life. so what would you do? it helped me to celebrate my own, to realize that i'm lucky to be where i am. i'd never felt like this until the reality slap hit me in the disguise of 2005. i'd been swimming in the biggest pool of self pity, and the little experiences helped me get out of that pool. i didn't want to feel sorry for myself anymore. i don't even know why i was in the first place. i started helping out others more, and people began to feel like they could come to me. that is one of the best feelings, to be trusted.
in all honesty, i'm not quite sure what i'm getting at here. theres so much i want to say but so little words to describe it, also, i just woke up from a nap and so if it sounds rather.. well, odd... thats why.
i did so many new things over break. i learned so many new things over break. i appreciated so many new things over break. i improved my relationshipds with so many people over break. and i feel like i actually accomplished something over break. and its all the same for 2005.
i guess i could finish this up saying i loooove everybody and hope everyone has a safe and healthy new year.
i hope everything goes well for all of you.
and i mean all of you.

1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before? "hung out" with my brother... haha...
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? i don't think i made any, if i did, i obviously didn't keep them.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? sort of.
4. Did anyone close to you die? yea
5. What countries did you visit? do the virgin islands count? haha oops, the US virgin islands. guess not.
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005? anything thats exciting.
7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory? june 21st? haha all christmas break?
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? doing way better in school probably
9. What was your biggest failure? letting the stupid things get me down
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? don't think so.
